Program Information

Jewish Studies 星空无限传媒 is an interdisciplinary program with courses and faculty from a variety of humanities and social science disciplines.

Currently 星空无限传媒 you can earn a Minor in Jewish Studies.

Minor Requirements

To graduate with a minor in Jewish studies, students must complete 15 hours of electives, including a minimum of six hours at the 3000-level or above. Electives must be chosen from at least two disciplines, such as , English, Hebrew, History, or Anthropology.

Electives must be chosen from at least two of the following areas:

  • Religious Studies鈥擱EL 1001, 1002, 1004, 1007, 2003, 2004, 2120, 2029, 3004, 3100, 3101, 3124, 3300, 4015 and depending on the topic 4236
  • Hebrew鈥擧EBR 1001, 1002, 2003, 2004
  • Literature鈥擡NGL 3124, and depending on the topic, 3220, 4055, 4086, 4122, 4231, 4236, 4593
  • History鈥擧IST 2020, 2022, 2025, 2030, 2160, 4017, 4026, 4125, 4130, HIST/INTL/REL 4096
  • Anthropology鈥擜NTH 3004
  • Political Science鈥� POLI 4059, 4061

For courses that are listed 鈥渄epending on the topic,鈥� students are required to petition to have these courses count and present appropriate documentation indicating the work was completed. In addition, special topics courses and courses with sections advertised as Jewish studies may be accepted for the minor upon approval of the director.
