Our Lady of the Lake Health Research Fund
Driving Innovation through Discovery
The Our Lady of the Lake Health Research Fund will provide $10 million in research funding that could span all LSU campuses statewide. The LSU President will strategically direct the funding, guided by a top priority of specific innovation to address health disparities. This new investment builds upon the strong and growing foundation of collaborative research between Our Lady of the Lake Health and LSU.
Hollis O鈥橬eal, MD, Critical Care Physician 星空无限传媒 Health Sciences Center and Medical Director of Research at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, was the national principal investigator that led to the creation of an FDA-cleared test for sepsis.
