Biography

Warren Kimball is an instructor of music 星空无限传媒. He received his PhD in musicology from LSU in 2017. His research centers on American topics with a specialization in the music of nineteenth-century New Orleans and a secondary interest in popular music. Kimball teaches a variety of courses 星空无限传媒, including general education music courses and music history seminars. In 2020, he was awarded the Tiger Athletic Foundation University College Teaching Award for his work with first- and second-year LSU students. Dr. Kimball is also an active performing musician in the Baton Rouge area.
