LSU Tigers Shine on Game Shows, Winning Big and Bringing Tiger Spirit to National TV

From the halls of LSU to the bright lights of national television, two proud Tigers recently showcased their talents on some of America鈥檚 most iconic game shows.

Nickolas Day on 鈥楾he Price is Right鈥

Nickolas Day, who earned both his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees in Communication Disorders from LSU, took his energy and enthusiasm to 鈥淭he Price is Right鈥 on January 29, where he became a major winner.

Nick鈥檚 experience on the show was nothing short of thrilling.

鈥淭he most exciting part about "The Price is Right" is the taping itself. It truly feels like you have crawled into your television set when you're in the studio,鈥 he said.

His big moment came when he spun the iconic wheel, landing on $1.00 and winning a $10,000 bonus spin before advancing to the Showcase Showdown. There, he won a brand-new car, a trip to Las Vegas, and additional cash prizes.

Nick鈥檚 LSU pride was evident on stage as he wore a purple shirt and even had the chance to share a 鈥淕eaux Tigers鈥 moment with LSU alum and 鈥淧rice is Right鈥 model Rachel Reynolds.

鈥淭he LSU bond knows no bounds,鈥 he said.

Now working as a speech-language pathologist at Leland High School in San Jose, California, Nick plans to use some of his winnings to enjoy his well-earned Vegas trip.

This wasn鈥檛 Nick鈥檚 first game show experience鈥攈e also appeared on 鈥淲heel of Fortune鈥 in 2023, where he finished in second place.

Morgan Harris on 鈥榃heel of Fortune鈥

Another Tiger, Morgan Harris, took center stage on 鈥淲heel of Fortune鈥 on January 27. As a former LSU cheerleader, Morgan is no stranger to high-energy environments, but stepping onto the game show stage was an entirely new experience.

鈥淭he energy in the room was electric. I thought nothing could compare to Death Valley on a Saturday night, but being on 鈥榃heel of Fortune鈥 was a whole different level,鈥 she said.

Morgan embraced the nerves and excitement, using the skills she gained from LSU cheerleading鈥攃onfidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to perform under pressure鈥攖o navigate the fast-paced game.

When asked why she thought she was chosen as a contestant, Morgan credited her personality and natural energy.

鈥淚 went in just being myself: enthusiastic, fun, and maybe a little competitive! LSU fans know how to bring the excitement.鈥

She said her time 星空无限传媒 was instrumental in shaping who she is today.

鈥溞强瘴尴薮絥鈥檛 just a university鈥攊t鈥檚 a family. The pride, the traditions, the way Tigers support each other no matter where life takes them鈥攊t鈥檚 something really special. Whether it鈥檚 on a football field, a game show stage, or in my career, LSU has given me a foundation that I鈥檒l always carry with me.鈥
